About the Office of Institutional Success and Decision Support
The Office of Institutional Success and Decision Support was formed on October 14, 2022, as an integrated institutional effectiveness unit that combined the institutional research office with the programs, accreditation and assessment office, and the technology group.
OISDS is led by Dr. Serenity Rose King, associate vice president for institutional success and decision support. She also serves as the liaison for Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). In addition, Dr. Wray Weldon, OISDS assistant vice president for institutional success technology, serves as the university’s Data Management Officer appointed by the UT Dallas President.
Mission
To empower UT Dallas’ students, faculty, staff and administrators in successfully executing the university’s mission and strategic priorities by providing trustworthy data, user-friendly analytical tools and expert support that fosters an institutional culture of continuous improvement and effective decision making.
