CourseBook serves as a comprehensive source for detailed information about past and present classes at UT Dallas.

  • Personalized Class List: View the classes you teach or are registered for at UT Dallas.
  • Extra Features for Instructors: Instructors have access to additional features designed to enhance their teaching experience including the ability to view class rosters, photo rosters, and class messaging.

StudentBook is a student records and advising application developed primarily for UT Dallas academic advisors. StudentBook allows advisors to track contacts with students, their academic history, and other interactions with WAT tools.

  • Comprehensive Student Information: Access all necessary student information in one place, from academic records to personal advising notes.

FacultyBook (FacBook) is the faculty records and documents database at UT Dallas.

Key Features

  • One-Stop Shop: FacultyBook works in cooperation with Dox, eForms, FacultyReview, UES, and other WAT applications to provide a wealth of information about UT Dallas instructors in a single location.

Dox is the official document repository built into WAT applications along with a powerful front-end (DoxSearch) for searching through the mountain of documents it contains (3.5M+ pages and growing).

  • Deep Integration: Whether you've submitted a file through eForms, accessed a syllabus via CourseBook, or retrieved instructions for tool usage in eLearning, you've interacted with Dox.
  • Robust Search: Every document uploaded to Dox is searchable, with the ability to filter results based on metadata and automatically assigned doxtags.
  • eSignatures: DoxSign enables documents to be digitally signed from an unlimited number of UT Dallas participants.
eForms Visit eForms

eForms exemplify the impact of designing tools with a deep understanding of the client's culture (because it's our culture too). The eForms system is a comprehensive solution designed to cater to the unique needs of the UT Dallas community.

  • Custom-Built Forms: Each form is custom-built by the WAT group, ensuring they perfectly align with the specific needs of various departments.

  • Integration with PeopleSoft: The system is integrated with the campus PeopleSoft system, providing access to a wide array of data.

Policy Navigator Visit Policy Navigator

Policy Navigator is the official repository and CMS (Content Management System) for UTD policies. The Policy Navigator CMS is specifically tailored to the process of publishing and editing policies in collaboration with the Handbook of Operating Procedures Committee.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive: The Policy Navigator houses the entire Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOP), containing official policies and procedures for the governance of UT Dallas.
  • Alignment with Regents' Rules: Policies in the HOP are designed to align with The University of Texas System Regents' Rules and Regulations.
  • Version History: All previous versions of policies, including those "deleted" are maintained for historical reporting purposes.
Universal Course Evaluations Visit UES

The Universal Evaluation System (UES) is a comprehensive tool designed by Web Applications & Technology to facilitate class and instructor evaluations mandated by the state of Texas.

  • Anonymity: Ensuring privacy, the evaluation responses are kept anonymous.
  • Public Results: The results of the evaluations are made publicly available on CourseBook.
  • User-friendly: With a simple login, users can view every evaluation currently available to them and track their completion status.
  • Flexible: Users have the ability to go back and modify a submitted evaluation if needed.
